春の里山遊び　２０２６年５月５日

４家族１０名が参加してくれました。オランダから旅行で来日されたファミリーも合流。

英語や日本語でお互いに自己紹介しました。 

 

山菜狩り 

ワラビ、コゴミを中心に収穫。ついでに山椒の葉を収穫。コゴミは短めに取ってね「short is better」。ワラビは長めにとってね「long is better」。と確認しながらでした
。ワラビは思ったよりも多く収穫できました。

 

ジャガ芋植え

北海道のじゃがいも「とうや」を今年は植えました。 皆さん、協力してチームワークよく作業が出来ました。

 

休憩

梅のおにぎり、冷やし焼き芋、ミニドーナツで休憩。じいちゃん手作りの冷やし焼き芋は、とても美味しく食べてくれました。 

 

天ぷらランチ

山菜の天ぷら、蕎麦、ワラビのおひたし、コゴミのおひたし、山ウドの酢漬け、を楽しみました。

 

＜感想＞

新緑がいちばんのごちそう

オランダの方と交流できてよかった 

天ぷらが美味しかった 

 

この日は新緑が本当に素晴らしく、良かったなあと思います。ありがとうございました！ 

 

Ten people from four families participated. A family visiting Japan from the Netherlands also joined us. We introduced ourselves to each other in English and Japanese. 

Wild Vegetable Gathering We mainly harvested bracken and ostrich fern. We also harvested some sansho leaves. We made sure to confirm that the ostrich fern should be picked short ("short is better") and the bracken should be picked long ("long is better"). We harvested more bracken than expected. Potato Planting This year we planted "Toya" potatoes from Hokkaido. Everyone worked together as a team. 

Break We took a break with plum rice balls, chilled baked sweet potatoes, and mini donuts. The chilled baked sweet potatoes, homemade by Grandpa, were delicious. 

Tempura Lunch We enjoyed tempura made with wild vegetables, soba noodles, blanched bracken, blanched ostrich fern, and pickled mountain udo. 

 <Impressions> The fresh greenery was the best treat. It was great to interact with people from the Netherlands. The tempura was delicious. The fresh greenery was truly wonderful that day, and I'm so glad I went. Thank you!

Co‐sato さんとコラボ企画

 

２家族が参加して半日の里山遊びでした。

山菜の資料を手がかりに、畑を散策。これはなにかな？つくしかな？ゼンマイかな？と好奇心わくわくの子どもたち。 

男の子がやみつきになったのはワラビでもコゴミでもなく…雑草扱いされているノビルでした。ズボッと抜ける感覚がたまらない様子。

もう一人は、ジャガイモ植え付けを超高速でやってくれました。そんなに急がなくても大丈夫なのよ。

 おやつには、冷やし焼き芋、ワラビのおひたし、山ウドの甘酢漬け 、菜の花のおひたし。

Two families participated in a half-day outing in the countryside. Using a guide to wild edible plants, they explored the fields. "What's this? Is it horsetail? Or perhaps a fiddlehead?" the children asked, their curiosity piqued. One boy became addicted not to bracken or ostrich fern, but to wild onions, often considered a weed. He seemed to enjoy the feeling of pulling them out with a satisfying tug. The other family planted potatoes at lightning speed. There's no need to rush so much! For snacks, they had chilled baked sweet potatoes, blanched bracken, sweet and sour pickled mountain udo, and blanched rape blossoms.
